Among the three Croatian men's teams in the main draw are two really good mates who decided to bring their friendship to the court.

Filip Silić and Ivan Djordjevic have both played previously at the Poreč Major but never together.

But will the chemistry work in a game? We sat down at spoke to them about their careers and ahead of the third instalment of their home Swatch Major Series tournament.

Swatch Major Series: Who is your beach volleyball idol?

Filip Silić: Phil Dalhausser

Ivan Djordjevic: Emanuel Rego

SMS: Which is your favorite tournament you played so far?

Filip: There are several of them, but probably the Mediterranean Games in Pescara 2015

Ivan: Ičići Masters

SMS: Which sport would you play if you didn't play beach volleyball?

Filip: Maybe tennis or some extreme sport like snowboarding

Ivan: Basketball or skiing

SMS: What is your best match played so far?

Filip: It's hard to tell, but one of them is from the beginning of my career when Zeljković and I won against a Slovenian team who had never been defeated in Croatia

SMS: Are you nervous before the game?

Filip: There is no place for nervousness J

Ivan: Mostly yes

SMS: Do you and your partner hang out in private life?

Filip: Yes, we are really good friends.

Ivan: Yes J

SMS: Which celebrity would you like to try to play beach volleyball?

Filip: Ava Karabatić

Ivan: Iva Šulentić

SMS: What is the best advice you ever got?

Filip: “You have two options: get nervous or don't get nervous”

Ivan: “Don't want something to someone that you don't want for yourself”

SMS: Do you have rituals before the match and if you do what are they?

Filip: The only thing is that I do one light cardio training 3-4 hours before the first match in the day

Ivan: Stretching in my own style ;)

SMS: The best athlete of all time in your opinion is...

Filip: Michael Jordan

SMS: What was your worst subject at school?

Filip: Chemistry

Ivan: Latin

SMS: What is your favorite superhero?

Filip: Definitely Batman!

Filip: Oats

Filip: It is difficult to choose one, but if I must then Elephant Man

Filip: I would organize a good party, a few of them actually J
