Not long now until the Croatian sensation kicks off
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s just 50 tantalizing days until beach volleyball makes its stunning return to the beautiful country of Croatia!
Yes, we’re counting down the days until we rock up for the third instalment of the Poreč Major and in case you hadn’t guessed, we can’t wait.
We’ve already got one very successful tournament under our belts following the fantastic Fort Lauderdale Major and now we’re looking forward to putting on another party in Poreč.
The Poreč Major is one of the most eagerly anticipated tournaments of the tour and in the lead up to this summer’s spectacle beside the Adriatic, we’ll be giving you more build up than you can shake sand out of your sandals.
We’ve already released the tournament schedule and revealed the news that night matches will be making their long-awaited debut.
Looking ahead, we’ve got plenty more exciting news to unveil, including which players are set to thrill the beach and which stars have been handed one of those sought-after wildcards. We’ll also be talking to local heroes from Croatia on why Poreč is so special, as well as speaking with past winners on why they cherish their gold medals from this tournament.
In the meantime, to get you in the mood for next month’s excitement, browse through our pages of Croatian content as we prepare ourselves for another perfect week in Poreč!
