Night matches are coming to Poreč this summer!
Let there be light!
For the first time in the history of the Poreč Major, beach volleyball stars will be well and truly in the spotlight!
The countdown to this season’s hugely anticipated summer season is well and truly on – and beach fans and players can look forward to experiencing all the drama and atmosphere of beach volleyball under floodlights.
Following the success of the night matches at the Fort Lauderdale Major, the Poreč Center Court will be the place to be as dusk descends on this beautiful part of the Croatian coast.
The floodlights will be switched on to illuminate the sand giving beach fans the opportunity to watch beach volleyball like they’ve never seen before.
The first floodlit game to mark down in your diary will take place on Wednesday June 28, as the men’s and women’s pool play matches start to get the bright light treatment.
The action under the lights continues throughout the week, leading up to the fascinating climax of the women’s competition with the women’s medal matches on Saturday night. What a night in prospect!
